Student Visa

Every year thousands of international students apply to study in Canada. Most of these international students have such great experiences during their time in Canada that they decide to make the country their permanent home.

However, being an international student can be quite stressful. As an international student you have a lot to learn about the Canadian educational system. That is why we have taken it upon ourselves to gather all the necessary resources needed to help you understand the process of becoming an international student in this country.

Program requirements

Anyone wishing to apply for a student visa should be able to:

  • Show that they intend to study and will return home after finishing their studies.
  • Admission requirements are met and accepted into a designated educational institution for study.
  • Be able to prove that they have significant financial support to be able to pay their schooling and living expenses while being a student at the institution.
  • Must be a law abiding citizen with no criminal record and should not be a risk to the safety of Canada.
  • Must be in good health and ready to complete a medical examination.

Program privileges

Apart from being an opportunity for world class education, a student will be allowed 20 hours per week and full time during regularly scheduled breaks. It gives students the opportunity to work in the Canadian job market. Those who wish to extend their stay in Canada after the end of their studies can apply for a Post Graduate Work Permit and then be able to apply for permanent residency (PR) under the Canadian Experience Class Program Are.
