Most provinces will require a relationship with the province or a job offer from a business in that province. There are some cases where this requirement has been waived.

Farm Owner / Operator
This category is for individuals with proven experience in farming, with sufficient capital available to invest in farming work, and who intend to purchase and operate farming operations in Saskatchewan.

health benefit
This category allows internationally trained health professionals, who have been working in Saskatchewan, for at least six months under a temporary work permit to apply for permanent residency status under the SINP. It is divided into three sub-categories: physicians, nurses and others health benefit.

Hospitality Sector Pilot Project
Under the Hospitality Sector Pilot Project, SINP can nominate foreign employees who are currently working in one of the following categories in Saskatchewan: Food / Beverage Servers; Food counter attendant / kitchen helper; Or housekeeping / cleaning staff.

Long haul truck drivers
This category allows Saskatchewan trucking firms to bring workers to the province for occupations requiring high school diplomas or on-the-job training under Service Canada's Temporary Foreign Workers Policy.
